Blog 6: My favorite serie TV

Hi friend´s!

 

Today I am going to talk you about my favorite series, "Grey´s Anatomy"

It is an American series is about the day to day of different surgeons, released in 2005 and currently has 16 seasons!

 

I started watching it a year ago, and at first I didn't like it much, but then it caught me. There is a lot of romance and also a lot of drama (I have cried a lot, many fictional characters have died). In addition, I really like the “sarcastic humor” of Meredith and Cristina. And of course, the handsome Doctor "Derek".

But above all I really like the topics that are addressed, such as feminism, discrimination, among others. Really important topics both in personal life and in society, which have undoubtedly been a contribution, since this series has a large audience.

Unfortunately,  there isn't much time to watch series, least of all such a long one, so I watch it when I can. 

Blog 5: A photograph, a story

Hello everyone!!!

   Today I am going to tell you what exists behind this photo.

My family we have visited the North for 3 years on holidays.

In 2018, we went to know "El Valle del Elqui". It is a very touristy place, and its surroundings have a lot of history, such as Vicuña. There, you can visit "The Gabriela Mistral Museum House" or go to "The Cerro Mamalluca Observatory". 

But global warming has affected it too much, it has been in a drought for several years and it is a situation that affects the people who live there and their animals.

A few weeks ago, snowed there and people were happy, because they would have water for their crops, but it is not enough.

I chose this memory because it was a good trip with my family, but we also generated a lot of awareness about how the planet is being affected. 

Blog 4: My favorite music band

Today I´m going to talk to you about my favorite band for years…

Keane!!!

The band is English, it belongs to Brit pop and is an alternative rock. It started in 1995, but his current vocalist Tom Chaplin joinded in 1997. The name of the band is made up of "The Lotus Eaters" and "Cherry Keane".

I remember that in 2004 I listened to “somewhere only we now” nowadays, this songs is one of my favorites songs,  and it was enough to never stop listening to them; In addition, my brother is also a fan, so it is something that unites us.

On November 25, 2019, in their “cause and effect latin american tour” we were able to see them live at the caupolican theater, we were very close to them. It was so emotional, a dream come true. 

Blog 3: My favorite piece of technology

Hello everyone!!!

My favorite technological device is the cell phone.

Because it is very comfortable to carry everywhere, also technology has advanced so much that it has better resolution every time (maybe it isn´t comparable as a professional camera) and it is easy to use...

Personally, I am not a big fan of take photos, so I am not looking for something very professional, but I love watching series on my cell phone, I think that,  it is more comfortable than television. I use it a lot, it is always in my hands, especially now in quarantine because I am continuously talking or calling my family and friends. 

Without a doubt it is one of the most important advances in technology and it is in a continuous change and transformation to provide us with a better service and tools. 

Blog 2: Why did I choose to study this degree?

Hello everybody!

Wow! It was not an easy decision, I rambled for some professions. 

Since I was a child, I wanted to study law and work with my dad. In high school, I got interested in obstetrics, but it didn't last much. Although I was doing well, science was not my thing.

Then I discovered that my way was through the humanities...

I applied to Law and Philosophy at the University of Chile and stayed in Philosophy. I was happy!!!

But I started to worry about social demands and I wanted to help society directly. And there I found the public administration... I saw the light!

So I requested an internal change, and I was able to change immediately. 

                                         I'm very happy because I meet beautiful people here! 

Blog 1: Who I am?

I WAS BORN ON MAY 10, 1998 IN SANTIAGO OF CHILE 

    

I GREW UP IN THE SAN JOAQUIN DISTRICT, UNTIL I WAS 9 YEARS OLD, AND THEN I MOVED HOUSE WITH MY PARENTS AND BROTHER.

SINCE I WAS 11 YEARS OLD, I PLAY TRANSVERSE FLUTE, IT IS MY PASSION, IT RELAXES ME, INSPIRES ME, I EVEN THOUGHT DEDICATING MYSELF COMPLETELY BUT...

IN 2018, I ENTERED TO STUDY PHILOSOPHY, BUT I ONLY STAYED FOR A SEMESTER AND I CHANGED. TO BE HONEST, I WAS VERY CONFUSED. 

CURRENTLY, I AM A THIRD STUDENT OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION AT THE UNIVERSITY OF CHILE. 

IN THE FUTURE I WANT TO TRAVEL, I SPECIALLY WANT TO VISIT ITALY AND FRANCE, IF IS POSSIBLE.
